Gaëtan Henrioux
Gaëtan Henrioux lives and works in France. This young artist has just finished his studies at the
Ecole Nationale Superieure of Applied Art in Paris. During his studies he has participated in
exhibitions in London, New York, and Paris, His canvasses are unique spaces where he sets up
modern scenarios using different people who act out in unexpected, natural or theatrical ways.
Sometimes their funny faces end the colourful surroundings transgress into frightening tragedies.
However if you look closely enough you can see that above all they are paintings - a combination of
strokes, forms, and colours that, confronted with an image, create new dimensions which exist only
